About
My Story
Hi, I’m Rinku Singh, founder of Lifespan Therapy and Wellness, LLC. I received my bachelor’s in biology from Albion College and my master’s in physical therapy from Oakland University. I am both a certified pelvic health therapist and a board certified women’s clinical specialist with the American Physical Therapy Association. I have advanced training in obstetrics to help women throughout pregnancy and postpartum recovery and have over 20 years of clinical experience.
I spent the beginning of my career focusing on orthopedics and sports medicine and then became interested in pelvic health after witnessing the physical and emotional challenges that it brings patients. Treating patients in pelvic health is my passion because I love the impact I can make in people’s lives. I feel that my extensive background in orthopedics helps me provide a broader and more advanced understanding of how to treat issues related to the pelvis.
My goal is to provide patients with a safe space to experience holistic healing, and to provide them with effective clinical care, exceptional customer service, and a supportive community. I enjoy combining my orthopedic and pelvic health expertise to provide high quality care so that patients get better faster and can attain sustainable results that they want.
My treatment philosophy emphasizes seeing the patient as a whole person and taking a holistic approach to developing their care plans. I also prefer using a multi-disciplinary approach to care and understand that getting the most effective results can involve addressing multiple aspects of the healing process.
In my spare time, I enjoy exercising, reading, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends.
